Notable Experience
Amanda Culp graduated from Kansas State University in 2004, and shortly thereafter started law school. During law school, she served as a law clerk for Palmer, Leatherman & White and a teaching assistant for the business law class at the KU Business School. Also in law school, Mrs. Culp clerked for Douthit, Frets, Rouse, Gentile & Rhodes for a little more than a year. While there, she assisted with legal research pertaining to consumer protection regulatory compliance concerning stored value cards. She received her Juris Doctor in May of 2007 from the University of Kansas and has been admitted to the Kansas Bar. Mrs. Culp joined Card Compliant after completion of the bar exam. During her time with Card Compliant, she has built a foundation of knowledge concerning unclaimed property and consumer protection laws specifically those pertaining to gift cards or stored value cards for all 50 states, numerous territories, and Canada.
